Got the Hercules from http://www.dabs.com but I think my score owes as much to my memory and overclocked FSB. I bought 400MHz low latency memory and ramped up the CPU FSB from 333 to 400 to utilise it. To avoid temperature issues I dropped the multiplier of the CPU down to 10.5. At 2100Mhz it's pretty running at stock speed (2083) but is utilising the full available 400MHz bandwidth of the northbridge and memory without risking the CPU. The Hercules helps of course and comes on a nice blue PCB with silent fan and RAM sinks fitted as standard.

Yet another Intel?????????? Maybe SuperXP and tony need to come over here and see real-world results!!!!!! However, not everything is dependant on the processor, and none of these people have an FX or high-end intel. Must mean that intel is better in the common, budget market. Interesting..........

well i think i would see better results if i had a motherboard that runs a via or intel chipset. But also i dont know if a 2600 would up the performance greatly where i decide to buy it u know.

dont forget intel is a good processor, i mean im running games that are good i think. but i wonder if i will see a better performance yield from an Amd 2600 or 2700 processor. In AIDA32 a 2700 literally whipes the floor with the 2.4 ghz processor. As of that ranking i mean.
