Hi,

Can anyone offer any ideas to my problem. Sometimes when I am using the keyboard letters get missed out. For instance in the he sentance before the S in sometimes did not type nd the the space between for an instance in this sentance was missing. There is no patter to the errors.

Thanks for your help

Check the batteries if its wireless.

Check the drivers if its a non-standard keyboard.

Your keyboard could be rubbish, it just started doing this, or it been doing it since you got it?

I spilled coffee on my last keyboard, so i let dry it for about 2 days, but whenever i tried to type, only vs came out. Like i would try to type my name and all I got was Vvvvv Vvvvvvvv. Im serious, you may hav something in ur keyboard, or its just f**ked up.

all I got was Vvvvv Vvvvvvvv.

that's hilarious. malkovich? malkovich malkovich? malkovich, malkovich malkovich malkovich. malkovich.

i would take the keyboard apart and give it a good cleaning out. at best, it will fix your problem, and at worst, you'll have to replace a malfunctioning keyboard.

Heres something better to hear. When that keyboard died, i bought the new one I have for only a dollar! How did this happen!? Well, in my school they were replacing comps, so they were selling comps and periphals, so i got this nice, almost brand new keyboard for a buck! In yo' faces suckas!

Oh and by the way, is the 5900 (flashed to 5950) better than the 9800pro? Just wondering tho.

I had a simalar problem.

I also asumed it was the keyboard, I tried the suspect keyboard on another computer and it was fine.

Turned out it was a blown PS2 port. :(

Easy enough to solve, I just brought a USB keyboard. But maybe some thing to look at before buying a new keyboard.

nothing like a sweet deal, eh pirate?

and normally, the 5900 (flashed to 5950) wouldn't be better than the 9800 pro. BUT...

since i have dual PSUs, i can make this baby run anything totally sweet-like (the extra volts make the pixels move faster!) doom 3 maxed out: easy. half-life 2 full aa and af: don't kid me. far cry with everything up: pffft, child's play. this thing is so badd asss i can even make my 1280 x 1024 LCD play games at 1600 x 1200! so yeah it's better. ;)

vincent, did you ever get your keyboard issue figured out?

Hey when I am typing the keyboard does not type the letter “t,h,v, and c”. this is very annoying and I have no idea what to do to fix it. P.S. I had to type this in Microsoft Word because the letters are typed in here but not online and the URL bar. It also didn’t work in yahoo or google, but on games it did, so idk what is the deal. Please help, and thanks.

From this post, it appears that 'S' is not your only problem.......
