sorry for last non post , anyway here goes - i ordered a new mobile [k800i] from o2 on monday , received it yesterday , i looked at my o2 online billing - and they were trying to charge me line rental on monday . i didnt even own a o2 phone on monday ?, i rang there customer helpline ," oh we charge line rental as soon as the phone is ordered" not a bad littlle scam that is it - 1 day line rental , for no phone , at £1 a day - how many customers will o2 have in uk - 1, 2, 3 miilion ? [ work it out for yourself - ] ????????? i have asked for a returns note saying im not happy with the deal or the handset , so lets see what happens next ?

Technically, they cannot charge you rental on a line you do not have any use of.

it seems like a kick in the teeth doesnt it - customers have to pay , to return a handset by special delivery , £6, so thats 7 quid for 2 days of having a o2 phone and making 3 calls - no doubt i,ll be charged for those too . mobile companies are becoming a right set of cheeky twats

Companies always scam people with the fine print

i just got a cheque back from them to cover my postage and phone calls , ad inconvenience - £10 [ goodwill cheque ] , but letter not signed , and no apology for them trying to rip me off . so much for there - "we will reply within 48hours " statement, try 16 days !!!
