Reminds me of the Asus Vento cases, too tacky for my taste.

Damn, that's one serious gear. Looks ok to me, though may be consider ugly for some people. How much $$$ are they charging for that thing? $6000 bucks? Must be expensive, better off just build your own. LOL ;)

Wanna add, I have a case that the front "door" opens about the same way, but the mechanism is so cheap, it's partially broken in only one week of ownership. Looks like this one have some heavy duty arms for the door, better be! Because this kind of door may not last that long if "abused" too much.

It's Acer. Does anyone here actually regard that company with any degree of quality workmanship?

Agree with Mothow, Acer does make some good computers. Their laptops are cheap and functional, I might get one actually.

Mothow was talking about a screen, with which I can sympathize. They do make pretty good screens.

Computers? Good computers? Acer?!? HAH.

Understand that A_Pickle recently wrote a rant against several companies, including Acer, on his Facebook. His wrath is still fresh. :P

In my opinion, that's about the worst case design ever. Seriously. Like... What the hell. I can't even begin to describe how ugly that computer is.

It looks cool, but I could build my own for cheaper, it won't fit under my desk, and doors of any type annoy me on a case. But the real question is...

Will it get me laid?

No.

I actually don't have a problem with that case. I may recommend it to someone looking for a little extra but I wouldn't buy it myself as I take function over form.

I too think that case is hideous, it looks like a mini cooking grill mixed with a house heater or a mini fridge, horrible!. As for Acer making good Pc's, well they do make cheap working laptops and correct me If i'm wrong but wasn't Asus the direct competition of Dell or HP?

Anyone who makes PC's is a direct competitor of Dell or HP. And ASUS makes excellent computers... Acer doesn't.

It is by far the ugliest case I have ever seen, but it sure does stand out from the crowd. If it is competitively priced it may do alright, but I do not think people will pay Alienware or even Dell XPS prices for an Acer. If you want a dirt cheap laptop, Acer is alright, but I just can not see spending more than $1000 on an Acer. Then again, to be honest, I would never personally buy an Acer.

Under the overclocking page, it says that it offers "minimum-risk overclocking capabilities". If it's anything like Dell's overclocking, you simply select from various CPU clock speeds in the BIOS. Then again, who buys a pre-built PC for overclocking.

I'm still inclined to disagree. Gateway and Acer will have to work hard to earn my buck.

The question is.....how the hell do you get inside it?

It looks like everything is connected to everything, like to open the side of it, you have to remove the front and the other side, and possibly the whole shell.

f**k that.

Performance wise, it is probably amazing, design wise, meh.

Could look cool in matte black.
