Hi

I have a Linksys WAP54G connected to a Microcom router.
The thing is after about 5 minutes the internet gets really slow.I tried enabling Throttle but the Linksys IP is automatically given from the router soo I dont know what it is.I want to get into the Linksys to change the throttle settings.
The weird thing is.I do a CMD- Tracert scan of say http://www.google.com to see the IP of the Linksys.and all it comes with is a bunch of IP`s after about 3 HOPS the rest are al stars and unkown Ip`s.
The thing is that the 3 first hops is supposed to be the Linksys and then the Microcom.
I have no Idea why this happens and also when I enter my Microcom`s ip from a pc working with the WiFi it wouldnt go in.Just unkown page.

Soo. I would like to know how to get my Linksys AP`s ip and also why it wouldnt go into the Microcoms interface from a WiFi cnnected computer.

One more thing.Would it be possible to make a CABLE extended aantenna?
Like a cable wih an antenna portthing attached to the AP and then an actual Antenna with a really long Cable??

You can get tons of info on how to configure your Access Point by the support page here: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&ch...torWrapper

There are also links to Firmware updates which usually solve a lot of problems, but you should perform these as a last resort.
