Remind anyone of anybuddy.Well i got the frist GTX 260GTX today. So far its fast but not as fast as i had hoped.Evga just recieved my mobo today also so i should have my 780i by Friday or monday i hope.Plus i have a second GTX coming for SLI.Its not ordered yet because im $50 short atm.Lately every thing i sell online i have the person pay by buying me Newegg gift certifacate so 2x GTX260s is costing me less than $100 not counting what i paid for my old stuff.

Congratulations. If it weren't for the motherboard restriction, I would have suggested two ATi Radeon HD 4870s as review benchmarks show them to be superior. However, you still have a monstrous setup. Again, congratulations. Let's see some benchies. :D

I think he did the eVGA step-up program, so it was probably cheaper for him. But yeah, for most people the HD4870 is a better choice as it is faster and a few bucks cheaper as well.

I wish i had a differnt mobo also.Id much rather have two 4870's.But thanks for the complement DS Dilbert.Yeah and Adams right Evga Step up.If it wasnt for that i wouldnt have done this.Next i might sell my Monitor and get a 24icnh LCD if i can get a decent price for it.Its the newest version of the 2007FP made in Feb 2008 with S-IPS panel so it should be worth a few hundered( i have a second one also but it has a few bad pixels)

Still, 2x Geforce GTX 260's in SLI is pretty kickass as well. One of the biggest advantages of going with dual HD4870s in my opinion is that you can stick with an Intel chipset based motherboard such as the P45 or X48 instead of going with an Nvidia chipset. Luckily for Intel chipset fans, the X58 chipset will support SLI (though I'm not sure if it still supports Crossfire or not).

No way!!!!!!!!awesome the X58 will support SLI?Thats awesome. But then ill need a new cpu ,mobo and ram:angry:I dont think the Ole lady will go for that again anytime soon. This caused me a bunch of arguing. And she is right.I have things i need worse than a fast computer. She says she cant tell the differnce between my last 4 other than the cases..lol

Thanks .Two GTX' 260's is pretty sweet imho. But two 4870 would be sweeter.By the way im gonna switch back to Vista Home premium since ive heard these card perform even better with DX10

yes, if you're going to advertise your new toy to everyone on the internet you should at least get the name of the thing right so you don't look like a duche.
