I think it is accurate. There is a way to enable it already but it is a back-door thing. The 180 drivers probably will just make the physics processing official.

Wow it's about time. I remember a post here a year ago or older that mentioned how you would be able to use an SLI card as a PPU while the other ones are in SLI. Hey maybe now my 680i could be put to good use. I could SLI the 8800gt and use a cheap 8 series card as a dedicated PPU. Too bad they're not compatible with the 7 series card, my 7600gt is pretty alone in her little box. :(
