This is a well documented issue with the heatsink - many of them can be slightly loose.

You can solve the problem by placing a small washer under the retention bracket, or even a thin piece of cardboard.

This should alleviate the movement problem, as well as help reduce your temps.

Do the washer mod it helps the temps and keeps it more secure even though mine still moves

well i went ahead and made an aluminum plate to fit on top of the heatsink and drilled a hole the size of the screw on the bottom of there bracket but i wasnt thinking or maybe i was thinking to hard and made it too thick...so i jsut grabbed a fender washer and a good sized rubber o-ring... for a little friction...seems to be working good as far as slop goes...

Good stuff.

Your temps should be much improved.

well jsut booted it up and the temps in bios said 20 degrees which doesn't seem right at all.
So going to do bios update and see what it reads....whats a good accurate software program to monitor cpu and gpu temps?
